Early access draft

Early Access Terms

Draft updated 29 July 2026

These terms govern a South African business’s early access to the My Winkel storefront, ecommerce, WhatsApp-management, and optional CMS service.

1. Early access

The service is still being developed. Features may change, and onboarding is limited to 100 new businesses a week. If capacity is full, joining the next available queue is free.

2. Preview and publishing

You may build and refine a private preview before paying. When you approve it, the public preview is reserved for 24 hours. The build remains privately recoverable for 30 days. Publishing requires an active subscription.

3. Subscription and separate costs

The subscription is R395 per month and includes the hosted storefront, ecommerce backend, a mywinkel.com address, custom-domain connection, WhatsApp management, optional CMS, three team members, basic analytics, SEO essentials, and R200 monthly AI credit. Payment processing, purchased domains, and AI top-ups are charged separately. My Winkel takes no percentage of merchant sales.

4. AI credit

Included credit resets each billing month. Purchased top-up credit remains while the subscription is active. Essential commerce and support actions do not use AI credit. Large generative actions show an estimate and require approval before paid credit can be used.

5. Payments and merchant responsibility

You contract directly with the payment provider and receive settlement directly. My Winkel guides onboarding but cannot guarantee activation. You remain the seller to your customers and are responsible for products, services, pricing, taxes, fulfilment, returns, consumer-law duties, and the accuracy of your storefront.

6. Approvals and account authority

Material published changes, refunds, sensitive actions, and paid AI work require confirmation. Owners control billing, payouts, domains, and deletion. Managers and order staff receive only their assigned permissions.

7. Content and ownership

You own your supplied media, business data, generated storefront content, catalogue, customer records, and order history. My Winkel owns its platform, agent systems, reusable templates, and code. An export contains structured business data and media, not deployable platform source code.

8. Failed payments, cancellation, and recovery

If subscription payment fails, we notify you, retry, and keep the live store available for a seven-day grace period. Checkout may then pause and the storefront go offline. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; the build remains recoverable for 30 days.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, payment approval, sales, traffic, or search rankings. Any liability limitations in the final terms will apply only to the extent allowed by South African law.

10. Support, changes, and contact

Human support operates weekdays from 08:00–17:00 SAST, excluding public holidays, with a target response within one business day. Material term or price changes will be communicated before taking effect. ContactMy Winkel support.
